Charlotte has worked in the historic environment sector for over 13 years, nine of which as a field archaeologist in the UK and abroad. Charlotte has a comprehensive understanding of archaeology and its place within the UK planning and development process and has worked on major infrastructure projects in the rail, road, power and housing sectors. Her successful delivery of a range of products that include Desk-based Assessments and Environmental Statements, together with her fieldwork advice, has supported multiple small and large scale developers in their mission to obtain planning permission including the fulfilment of archaeological planning conditions. Charlotte specialises in the management of archaeological fieldwork, both in the investigation and mitigation stages and believes a good working relationship between consultant, contractors, developers and stakeholders gets the best results in terms of project delivery and client satisfaction.
